Hosting Agreement

This Hosting Agreement governs managed hosting services provided by Canadian WP Site (“Company”, “we”, “us”) to the Client (“you”).

By purchasing or maintaining hosting services, you agree to the following terms.

 

1. Hosting Services Overview

Canadian WP Site provides managed WordPress hosting services for websites built under the Canadian WP Site platform.

Hosting services include:

  • Secure server infrastructure
  • Daily backups
  • Security monitoring
  • WordPress core and plugin updates
  • Performance optimization
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Technical environment management
  • Hosting is required for activation of all websites built through Canadian WP Site.

 

2. Infrastructure

Canadian WP Site may utilize third-party infrastructure providers, cloud platforms, and server partners to deliver hosting services.

You acknowledge that:

Infrastructure may be operated by third-party providers.

Canadian WP Site manages and configures the environment on your behalf.

We are not responsible for outages beyond reasonable control of our infrastructure partners.

 

3. Minimum Commitment

Hosting requires a minimum commitment of six (6) months from the activation date.

After the initial 6-month period, hosting continues on a month-to-month basis until cancelled.

 

4. Billing & Payment

Hosting fees are billed monthly or yearly via automatic recurring payment.

If payment fails:

  • Client will receive notification.
  • A seven (7) day grace period applies.
  • If unpaid, the website may be suspended.
  • Continued non-payment may result in deactivation.

Canadian WP Site reserves the right to charge late fees or administrative fees for repeated payment failures.

 

5. Suspension & Deactivation

Websites may be suspended for:

  • Failed payments
  • Violation of Terms
  • Illegal or prohibited content

Suspended websites may be reactivated upon payment of outstanding fees.

Backups are retained for up to thirty (30) days after suspension. After that period, data may be permanently deleted.

 

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Maintaining valid payment methods
  • Ensuring lawful website content
  • Not installing unauthorized or harmful plugins
  • Not attempting to access server-level configurations

 

Canadian WP Site reserves the right to remove or disable plugins that compromise performance or security.

 

7. Data & Backups

Daily backups are provided as a courtesy.

While we take reasonable measures to safeguard data, we do not guarantee recovery in all circumstances.

Clients are encouraged to maintain independent backups if desired.

 

8. Migration

Clients may request a copy of their website files if transferring to another hosting provider after the minimum term.

Migration assistance may be subject to additional fees.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

Canadian WP Site is not liable for:

  • Data loss
  • Revenue loss
  • Service interruptions
  • Security breaches beyond reasonable preventative measures

 

Liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous three (3) months.
