Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the build, pricing, hosting, and what happens after launch.

How does the 72-hour website build work?

Once you purchase your website and complete the intake form, the 72-hour build clock starts.

We build your site using your selected template, your business information, and AI-enhanced content. You'll receive a preview link before it goes live.

You get one revision round. After approval, we publish. No meetings, no design calls, no delays.

What do I need to provide?

You'll complete a form covering your business name, a short description, services offered, service area(s), phone and email, brand color preference, and your Google Business Profile link (and a bit more).

You can also upload your logo and photos if you have them , if not, we can put together a simple logo for you.

If your submission is incomplete, the 72-hour clock doesn't start.

What does the website include?

Every build includes a mobile-responsive design, AI-polished content, a simple text-based logo if you need one, stock images as needed, and basic SEO setup , all delivered in 72 hours.

Most builds are a single page covering the sections that apply to your business: header/menu, a converting hero, about/reviews, FAQ, services or pricing, a contact form, and a footer.

Some businesses get a multi-page site instead , typically Home, About, Booking/Contact, Services, and Menu (for restaurants). Either way, it's everything you need to launch properly.

Do I own my website?

Yes. Your site is built on WordPress, which is open-source , you own your content and site files.

You're not locked into a proprietary website builder. Your only ongoing commitment is hosting.

Can I request custom design changes?

Canadian WP Site is a template-based system. We don't offer custom layouts, branding packages, or full design overhauls as part of a standard template build, which starts from $199.

If you need advanced customization, we can refer you to our full-service agency.

Is this website SEO-ready?

We include basic SEO setup: title tags, meta descriptions, a sitemap, and speed optimization , everything needed for your site to be indexed by search engines.

Ongoing SEO campaigns are available separately.

What if I don't submit my information right away?

Your project doesn't begin until your intake form is complete. If your information isn't submitted within a set period, your build may be paused and could be subject to reactivation fees.

How do I request updates after launch?

If you're on a maintenance plan, you can submit update requests within your monthly allowance. If not, updates can be requested as one-time paid tasks.

What does hosting cost, and what does it include?

Hosting starts at $50/month. It keeps your site fast, secure, backed up daily, updated, and monitored , so your business stays online and protected.

I already paid for the build. Why do I still have to pay for hosting?

The one-time build fee covers designing, writing, and launching your website. Hosting is different because it never stops: it's the server running your site every second of every day, plus the security patches, daily backups, and uptime monitoring that keep it online and safe. Every website needs this, no matter who builds it. At $50/month, it's one flat rate for everything that keeps your site alive after launch, instead of piecing together your own hosting, security, and backups separately.

Is there a minimum hosting commitment?

Yes , managed hosting requires a 6-month commitment, which keeps your site stable through its launch phase. After the initial 6 months, you can cancel anytime.

What happens if I cancel hosting?

Your website is suspended, then deactivated after a grace period. You can request your site files at any point if you'd like to move to another host , we don't lock you into proprietary systems.

How many revisions do I get?

You get one revision round after your preview, and revisions need to be submitted within 48 hours of receiving it. Additional revisions are available as paid add-ons, or under a maintenance plan.

Can I add ecommerce or booking later?

Yes. Because your site is built on WordPress, you can add booking systems, ecommerce, a blog, more pages, or advanced SEO later , you won't need to rebuild your website as your business grows.

What businesses is this built for?

Canadian WP Site is designed for contractors (roofing, plumbing, landscaping, electrical, HVAC), new solo service businesses, and local service providers.

If you need complex integrations, an ecommerce store, or a large custom project, this may not be the right fit.

Do you offer refunds?

Because work begins immediately after intake submission, refunds are not offered once production has started. Please review all details before purchasing.

Do you offer phone support?

Canadian WP Site is built for fast, streamlined delivery, so support is handled over email to keep things quick and efficient.

Still have questions?

We build WordPress sites for small businesses who need to launch fast , no meetings, no complicated processes, no long contracts.
